For beginners and accomplished artists alike, this workshop is for all those wishing to tap into the artistic capabilities that lie within their reach while discovering the joy and illuminating power of painting. Utilizing a simplified approach, an emotional outpouring of color and form is first applied to a surface, followed by studied, individual detailing of the personal visions the imagination presents. Through this simple process, the artist can begin to create essential form and color that is enlivening, enlightening and amazingly fantastic. The premise: to exercise right-brain potential in a non-threatening, effortless, and exuberant manner that instills joy, self-discovery, and newfound self-esteem. With an emphasis on individual attention, this workshop covers the needs and desires of all involved while exceeding all expectations
Participants will also be introduced to the 'Master's Technique', as employed down through the centuries by such artists as Van Eyck, Rembrandt and Max Ernst, and will work with an updated simplified version. Also, in addition to oil painting, we are allowing acrylic paints to be used as well. Limited to 20 participants, these workshops fill up quite fast, and an early registration is recommended.

Robert Venosa, internationally recognized as one of the outstanding masters of 'Fantastic Realism', is the author of the recently published Illuminatus. Along with Martina Hoffmann he has given this workshop at such institutes as Esalen, Omega, Skyros, CIIS, and Naropa.

Martina Hoffmann is a renowned painter and sculptor of 'Transcendent Realism' whose work has been collected and published internationally.

The workshop will be conducted in Boulder, Colorado from Saturday, November 24th to Friday, November 30th:

Saturday, November 24th:
10:00AM to 12:30PM. Technique introduction. Painting.
12:30 to 2:00 PM - lunch.
2:00 PM to 4:00 PM - PowerPoint presentation on Visionary art and technique.

Sunday, November 25th:
10:00 AM Painting
12:30 to 2:00 PM - lunch
2:00 PM to 5:00 PM: Painting

Monday, Nov 26th: to Friday Nov 30th:
6:00 to 9:00 PM - painting
